About us
The group was formed in 1989 when a few like minded, experienced individuals with a mutual interest in the Feldgendarmerie sat down and decided to recreate a unit.
The original incarnation was as Feldgendarmerie Abteilung 66, which was attached to the famous 116 Panzer Division "Der Windhund". In 1994 a change in direction was decided upon, and after careful research it was decided that the 2nd Panzer Division fitted in best with the other German units in the WW2 LHA - and thus Feldgendarmerie Trupp 82 came into being.
Since then the group has gone from strength to strength, with a display of a duty station second to none, vehicles, communications equipment, personal items - the list is long.
We are unique within WWII living history in that we are the only group dedicated solely to the portrayal of the military police.
