Sd. Ah. 3 trailer for light loads
This is a complete new-build of the ‘commercial, boxed trailer’ illustrated in early war army handbooks. It follows the size and weight specifications and is as accurate as it can possibly made, right down to the correct fittings (lights, tow hitch etc.). However, the number plate bracket and the light will need to be moved to the left side rear door, as this seems to be the position that most were placed in (as they wouldn’t get ripped off there!). It was built to carry the show kit and also to be left on site when there.

Sadly our reproduction was destroyed in a road traffic accident in April 2006 on the way back from Fort Nelson. No one was injured and the majority of the equipment inside did survive, although some ammo tins and jerry cans were crushed by passing vehicles. There are plans to construct a replacement in 2009.
